Well, here’s mine – the Roaring Fork Valley is truly unique in so many ways, and real estate is no exception. Looking back at the 2011 Upper Roaring Fork Valley real estate market, there are so many interesting trends that developed: Listing Inventory dropped 10% and then stabilized; Prices in the Central Core and West End neighborhoods in Aspen began to “turn the corner” ever so slightly; Sales of $10 million + homes in Aspen/Snowmass grabbed headlines; Basalt posted off-the-chart increases in the Number of Sales (at the expense of Sellers in short-sale and foreclosure situations)…and the story continues.
